ALERT TO SCRAP YARDS: Do not purchase copper tubing bearing Cambridge-Lee ink marks; report any copper tubing offered matching this description to NBRPD (Detective Sergeant Robert N. Wood, Jr., (610) 926-2999, rwood@nbrpd.org). CASE SUMMARY: Four truckloads of copper tubing ($1,242,000 total) were stolen from Cambridge-Lee Industries, Ontelaunee Township, Berks County, PA through fictitious carrier pickups on 9/24/2026, 9/25/2026 and 9/30/2026. Part of load 596414 (20,460 lbs of copper tubing) was sold in Philadelphia on 9/28/2026 and was later re-melted. NBRPD incident numbers 72-26-12342 and 72-26-12388.
