	On 04/25/2025, 0719 hours, an officer was dispatched to an apartment complex located on Western Skies Dr. SE referencing a metal theft. A Caucasian female, 5'9" wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and red shoes with white soles was pulling copper wire out of the lighting system throughout the complex and bagging it in a black bag. Officers encountered the female matching the description with a black bag full of copper wire she claimed she found. The caller stated the female subject was stripping the copper wire with an unknown tool. The female subject also claimed she found the bag with tube cutters located inside. A responsible party for the apartment complex estimated the total value of loss to be $25,000. Unknown diameter and unknown length.
