On May 22, 2017, the Tampa (FL) Police Department broadcast an alert for the theft from a construction site of aluminum shutters and railing valued at approximately $15,000. The alert contained photos of the stolen material along with a description of the suspect vehicle. Within minutes of the broadcast, an area recycler contacted police resulting in the arrest of one suspect.
